The Return of After Burner (PSP)

The boys and girls at Planet Moon Studios are hard at work developing After Burner: Black Falcon exclusively for Sony's PSP. AB:BF features 19 officially licensed military fighters, such as the legendary F-14D Tomcat, the F-15E Strike Eagle, and the F-22 Raptor. Each plane will be customizable, and you'll be able to dogfight with your buddies via an Ad Hoc connection. A cooperative mode will also be included, so your buddy can be your wingman. The single-player campaign puts you in the flight suit of a member of a highly classified military group who must retrieve stolen fighters sold to terrorists. Bob Stevenson, CEO of Planet Moon Studios, is quoted in today's announcement saying, "Building After Burner: Black Falcon from the ground-up enables us to craft the game with PSP features in mind with all-new multiplayer modes, customisable jets and over-the-top gameplay. Most importantly, it's approximately 9000% more portable than the original arcade cabinet." After Burner: Black Falcon is scheduled to ship in spring 2007.
